A must go if you are a jazz lover. The atmosphere of this place was lovely, and an ideal place to have wonderful conversations with a variety of people, even doing some reading or journaling while enjoying the music in the background. It was very easy to find as it is located right next to the station, and the café had a very warm and inviting feel to it that made me feel nostalgic.

We have been here a couple of years ago by absolute chance and it was one of the best experiences we had in Japan. Lovely music, lovely owners, lovely cat, if you are nearby, please do yourself a favor and visit! Love, Ivars and Nina

If you're a jazz enthusiast or simply a lover of music, Eigakan Jazz Kissa is a destination you can't afford to miss. Easily accessible by train, this spot in Tokyo offers an experience like no other. I visited on a rainy Thursday evening, and it was nothing short of magical—the sound quality, the ambiance, and the rich history that permeates the air all contributed to an unforgettable experience. This isn't just a café; it's a shrine to jazz, a place where you can immerse yourself in the rhythms and melodies that have shaped global jazz history. Make sure to stop by and soak in the music for a few hours.

The vibe was amazing! Tokyo has many of these Jazz Kissas but one of my favorite. I really like the environment down there.

I learned about this place from a book called “A rough guide to Jazz Kissa.” I am so glad I was able to spend some time in the cafe for some Jazz music. The owner is very friendly and he speaks some English too! I highly recommended this place to anyone who love Jazz. It is right next to a train train, very convenient. I will definitely go there again when I visit Tokyo in the future!
